The Process

We will perform a comprehensive website analysis to assess the migration's complexity. Following this assessment, we will provide you with a detailed quote, including an estimated project timeline and total cost.

  • We back up your old website
  • We take a copy of your files and database and install it on our live test server
  • We uninstall and replace any extensions, modules and plugins which will not be compatible
  • We copy the content from the old extension to the new extension or module
  • We replace the template or install a new theme to match closely as possible the old template including fonts, and colours
  • we then carry out the migration process
  • we send you a live link to verify the new website
  • When you are satisfied with the new Joomla 5 website we will migrate the test version of the website to your live website.
  • We zip up the old and new website files and databases and send them to you for safekeeping.
